Get to know Jim and Yetunde


Jim Hart DSW, LSW

Jim obtained his doctorate and master's in social work from Rutgers University. He has been a licensed social worker in the state of New Jersey for 22 years and an ordained reverend for 13 years. For the past 20 years he has been providing premarital and marital counseling to couples across the United States. Jim works with heterosexual couples, and he is passionate about assisting Black-White couples. In February 2016 he released his first book, The Great Husband’s Playbook: Winning Plays for a Victorious Marriage.

Jim has also been an adjunct professor for the graduate school of social work at Rutgers University since 2006. He teaches clinical assessment and diagnosis, spirituality in social work, clinical practice, clinical mental health, and human behavior and the social environment. For the 2019-2020 academic year he was named the outstanding professor as a doctoral student.

Jim has been married to Yetunde for over 20 years and they have three children together, Samuel, Daniel, and Gabriel.

Jim and Yetunde offer workshops to married and engaged couples, as well as seminars in the areas of leadership, mental health, relationships, and diversity for businesses, churches, and non-profits. 


Yetunde Hart M.Ed., BFA

Yetunde obtained her bachelors of fine arts from Howard University earning best actress her senior year. After working for Crossroads Theatre Company in New Brunswick, New Jersey she obtained her certificate in elementary education in 2005. In 2021 she would obtain her master's in education from Cairn University. She has been an educator for over 20 years having worked at Metuchen Christian Academy, Timothy Christian School, The Wilberforce School, North Brunswick public schools, Princeton public schools, and Cranbury public schools. She has taught various subjects in both elementary and middle school. She also specializes in training educators to implement cultural responsive teaching across the curriculum.

Yetunde has been married to Jim for over 20 years and they have three children together, Samuel, Daniel, and Gabriel.
